About US:

The JOBS Group mission statement is to create jobs for persons with disabilities through business engagement and legislative advocacy. We are made up many organizations that are dedicated towards this goal.

The JOBS Group: Formed in September 2004, JOBS is an alliance of many of the most prominent organizations in San Francisco and San Mateo Counties, as well as State and Federal agencies dedicated to job training and placement for persons with sensory, mobility, developmental, mental health, and other disabilities in San Francisco and San Mateo Counties. By combining our resources and experience, through business development and legislative efforts we aim to create jobs for and promote hiring of workers with disabilities.

JOBS meets the first Friday of every month from 9:30-11:30 am in the San Francisco offices of the California State Department of Rehabilitation on the 7th floor of 301 Howard Street at Beale Street in San Francisco.  In addition to the organizations identified in this website, participants from many other agencies concerned with employment of people with disabilities have attended our meetings, which are open to the public.
