BILIM Organization for Research and Social Studies is an independent nongovernment and non-profit organization providing research and training services in social science with a specific focus on education, migration, culture, public administration, and governance in Afghanistan. Bilim's vision is to advance knowledge, awareness, and perception of the public, organizations, and government agencies of real-world challenges. We envision being an effective liaison between the public and policymaking bodies by generating accurate evidence-based scientific data on the thematic area of social science. Our mission is to promote and advance quality research and data-driven knowledge in education, migration, culture, public administration, and governance. Job Description
- Research: Conduct research on the topic of the survey to gain a deep understanding of the subject matter, and develop a clear understanding of the target audience.
- Questionnaire Design: Develop questionnaires and survey instruments that are clear, concise, and unbiased, and ensure that questions are aligned with the research objectives.
- Survey Testing: Conduct pilot testing of the survey instrument to identify any issues or errors, and make adjustments as necessary.
- Survey Programming: Use survey software to program the survey instrument, including skip logic, branching, and randomization, to ensure that data is collected efficiently and accurately.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data collected through the survey instrument to identify patterns and trends, and make recommendations based on the results.
- Quality Control: Ensure that survey data is collected and entered accurately, and that all data is cleaned and prepared for analysis.
- Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations that summarize survey findings, including charts, tables, and other visual aids to help communicate the results effectively.
- Survey Management: Manage the logistics of the survey, including sampling, data collection, and participant recruitment, and ensure that all ethical and legal requirements are met.
- Project Management: Develop and manage project plans and timelines, and ensure that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Communication: Communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, partners, and research teams, to ensure that all aspects of the survey are aligned with their needs and expectations.
Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor's or degree in a relevant field such as Economics or Computer Science.

Experience: At least 3 year of experience in conducting relevant research studies.

Project management skills: Strong project management skills to plan, organize, and manage research projects from start to finish, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.

Leadership skills: Strong leadership skills to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, manage conflicts, and ensure project objectives are met.

Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels.
